Comprised of 52% of our 3-year-old Rye Whiskey, blended with 31% 6-year aged whiskey and 17% 10 year aged whiskey from Alberta, Canada.

Woodford Reserve, the Presenting Sponsor of the Kentucky Derby honors “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” with the release of the 2024 commemorative Derby bottle. This year’s special release features the artwork of Kentucky native Wylie Caudill, known for his bold, repetitive patterns, and his signature roses. His painting, “Adorned in Roses,” depicts a racing thoroughbred covered with red roses, with a background of multi-colored roses.

Now an annual spring release, Batch Proof doubles down on what Woodford does best, upping the banana pudding, dark spice, and toasty oak notes to decadent new heights.

This is a 100% rye whiskey made with Washington state grain. Look for a tawny hue and distinctly fruity scent layered with a wash of vanilla. The bracing, lean palate shows plenty of vanilla and caramel up front plus a hint of espresso, sparked with fiery cayenne and hot cinnamon on the drying fade. A splash of water coaxes out a pleasing nuttiness and tones down the spicy heat.
