And our state of the art water reclamation facility assures only pure water re-enters our water table.

Robust and confident. Coalition Kentucky Straight  Rye Whiskey is finished in Pauillac barrels. It has a dark, seductive amber color and a very complex bouquet rich in blackberry, plum, cherry notes, hints of coffee, and spices, primarily black pepper. On the palate, it shows a generous volume with smoked nuts and a pleasant well – integrated wood finish. Bottled at 46.3% A.B.V.

Refined and lively. Coalition 100% Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is finished in Margaux barrels. It has an attractive deep garnet amber color. There is a lot of elegance in the mouth, a good backbone, and a long pleasant finish. It has a complex flavor with floral notes of violets and lilacs, red fruit nuances, and a touch of roasted coffee beans. Bottled at 45.4% A.B.V.

In 1773, three McAfee Brothers named James, George and Robert left Virginia westward to explore the uncharted territory that would later become known as Kentucky. Traveling by canoe at first, the McAfee Company eventually followed a native trail overland that led to the great buffalo crossing, where the brothers surveyed the land now home to the world’s most award-winning distillery – Buffalo Trace Distillery. The surveyor marks left behind are known as benchmarks and this bourbon whiskey honors the pioneering spirits of these early American explorers.

12 Bottles of 750 mL Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery and owned by Sazerac. Dubbed "Baby Buffalo Trace" as it's built on Buffalo Trace's low-rye mash bill recipe. Buffalo Trace's signature bourbon is traditionally aged for 8 years while Benchmark is traditionally aged for 4 years.  Benchmark is a classic straight bourbon through-and-through. It celebrates the pioneers that settled the land the distillery stands on today.  Tasting Notes: The nose bears caramel notes with a delicate stone-fruit backdrop. A robust and sturdy palate with some fine leather notes mingling with dry tobacco, a touch of oak and a hint of dried cherries. The finish is smooth and calming.

It’s been 100 years or so since the Jack Daniel Distillery released a whiskey of 10 years of age or greater. Evolving Jack Daniel’s past aged-stated whiskey process, these Tennessee Whiskey barrels have been aging in the Buzzard’s Roost of our barrelhouse, and methodically relocated to the lower floors of different barrel houses to extend the aging process for the last 10 summers.
